Middle and High School Numbers Coaches
Foothills, Orchard, and Pioneer Middle Schools / Wenatchee High School
Stipend: $2,234 – $4,246
RESPONSIBILITIES: Assist in the preparation of student athletes for meaningful athletic competition through instruction in the fundamental skills, strategies, and physical training necessary for them to realize a degree of individual/team success and at the same time, receive instruction that will lead to the formulation of good citizenship, pride of accomplishment, good sportsmanship, self-discipline, and self-confidence.
This position is intended for people who are interested in being a numbers coach for multiple different sports. Please indicate in your application and/or cover letter which sports you are interested in coaching. Positions could be at Foothills Middle School, Pioneer Middle School, Orchard Middle School or Wenatchee High School depending on need.
QUALIFICATIONS: Coaching experience at middle/high school level preferred. Possess a current First Aid Card/CPR Card or complete a district approved athletic training/sports medicine course equivalent to the Red Cross First Aid training or be enrolled in that type of class. A Washington State Patrol Criminal History Information Form, required by RCW 43.43.830, is on file in the Athletic Office. High school graduate and at least 21 years of age. SPI Moral Character Supplement Form 4020b completed and on file. Annually attend bloodborne pathogens training. Annually attend a WIAA approved rules clinic for the sport being coached. Certificated personnel preferred.

In addition, a background check, based on fingerprints, will be requested from the Washington State Patrol & FBI. Employment is conditional based upon the completion of the record check.
