POSITION #325-EXC-09/17:        

Learning Improvement Team (LIT) Member - Classified Staff

Newbery Elementary

Annual Stipend: $1,534

3-Year Term

                                                    

DESCRIPTION: Provide leadership for the Classified Team.  Oversite of team participation and completion of assigned work in conjunction with building improvement plan and district initiatives. Participation on the Newbery Elementary Learning Improvement Team.  Oversight of all operational activities associated with the Classified Team. Commit to a three-year term of service.  Other related duties as assigned.                         

 

QUALIFICATIONS: Classified member of Newbery Elementary.  Work with Newbery's classified staff to organize school activities and build programs.  Ability to motivate.  Must have excellent human relations, communication, organization, and leadership skills.  Attendance and punctuality are important functions of this position.

 

 

SCHEDULE: OPEN UNTIL FILLED.

 

UNION AFFILIATION: This position is represented by the Co-Curricular Employees Association.

 

Immigration Reform and Control Act Requirement:  The recommended applicant, if not a current regular employee, will be required to complete an INS I-9 form and must provide proof of employment eligibility prior to working.

 

Disclosure Statement and Record Check:  Pursuant to Chapter 486, Washington Laws of 1987, the recommended applicant, if not a current regular employee, will be required to complete a disclosure form indicating whether he or she has been convicted of crimes against persons listed in the law. In addition, a background check, based on fingerprints, will be requested from the Washington State Patrol & FBI.  Employment is conditional based upon completion of the record check.
